University of Phoenix College of Doctoral Studies is pleased to share that Joanne Vázquez de Príncipe, DM, associate faculty and Fellow-in-Residence of the Center for Leadership Studies and Organizational Research (CLSOR), has published a chapter, “The Work-Life Dynamics Cultural Impact: Evolving the Future of Strategic Holistic Ecosystems Post Pandemic,” in a recent publication, Measuring the Effectiveness of Organizational Development Strategies During Unprecedented Times.

Published by IGI Global, the book examines organizational development with research and innovative practices from the fields of leadership and organizational development, change, and design. Based on her doctoral dissertation study, Príncipe’s chapter explores the benefits of leveraging holistic and strategic tactics with a deeper look into work-life dynamics associated with organizational effectiveness, culture transformations, and change leadership aspects impacting the evolution of the organizational development (OD) discipline.

“Businesses today are consistently undergoing rapid change, triggered by the current volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous, referred to as VUCA, in our post-pandemic state of the world,” states Príncipe. “Astute leaders can seize this moment to enhance organizational efficiencies and effectiveness by aligning long-term evidenced-based scientific organizational development strategies with measurable people management and business outcomes.”

Príncipe is an Associate Faculty member of Doctoral Organizational Behavior at the College, where she educates and evaluates the curriculum of business and doctoral leadership programs. Her career spans more than three decades of multidisciplinary experience across professional services industries, including legal, non-profit, finance, and government, with specialties ranging from global human capital management to change enablement and organizational development excellence to strategic planning initiatives. Príncipe is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Purposeful Coaching LLC d/b/a Purposeful Advising & Coaching, USA, a boutique firm offering organizational management thought leadership, group development engagements, consulting, and leadership coaching for emerging leaders. She is also an affiliate and member of the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC) and Center for Credentialing Education (CCE), a Board Certified Coach (BCC) exam item writer, item reviewer, and subject matter expert serving as coaching industry standards setter. Príncipe earned her doctorate in Management specializing in Organizational Leadership at the University of Phoenix, as well as a Master of Arts in Organizational Management, and her continued research interests as a Fellow with CLSOR focus on alignment between organizational leadership and culture-building approaches.
