A business counts on operations professionals to execute the strategy of an organization. Operations management contributes to this process by defining how the goods and services of the organization will be delivered and by designing, planning, directing, and controlling how resources will be utilized. In this course, students will learn the key concepts, functions, and goals of the operations function in both the service and manufacturing sectors. Students will also learn how quality factors into the operations function. This course provides 0.4 continuing education units in one, 4-hour workshop.
